Few questions regarding your department. Basic ones. The interviewer just wants to know whether you're familiar with the stream you're pursuing or not. Even if you don't know the correct answer and do attempt the question confidently

All you need to do is to make sure that you convince the interviewer that though currently you're not proficient in the subject, but if you're given a chance in future you'll learn.
