Aligns the canonical docs and public preview/install docs around stable v0.5.1 plus the v0.5.1-vnext-preview release gate. Keeps the v0.6.0-alpha-rc.* docs as historical dogfood packaging notes and leaves runtime/config changes out of this PR.
