Hello! Adding my GBC roguelike GBHack — a NetHack-inspired dungeon crawler with 15 procedurally generated levels, permadeath, an identification game, hunger, pets, shops, and the Amulet of Yendor.

Full disclosure: the game was written with Claude Code (AI-assisted), but it has been tested and played on real Game Boy Color hardware, not only in emulators. This PR itself was also prepared with Claude Code.

Built with GBDK 4.3.0, MBC5 + 32 KB battery-backed SRAM.

Cool @statico ! Would you up to share what was the prompting to Claude Code to prepare the PR to Homebrew Hub? I'm curious if we could maybe work on a 'skill' to guide it better

I've opened #279 for AI disclosures in the schema

Hey there, human @statico here. After I completed the game I asked Claude:

❯ how can we get gbhack on romhacking (the place where gameboy roms and patches are shared) or any other directories? what about nethack lists? the nethack wiki? come up with ideas, search the web. then do an adverserial pass to make sure the suggested places would be ok with AI-generated untested but interesting new ROMs like mine would be ok

Claude has web search and uses the gh tool with permission. It recommended Homebrew Hub as the top choice, which I took a look at, and said:

make a PR for homebrew hub. use the title screen screenshot as the card image. research what tags to use, follow the right PR format (review previous PRs first), let me review it before you submit it

The PR looked good. I manually added a link to the already hosted version too.

Thanks for including it!
