directly from the github repo. Includes the openbt.R wrapper which is a merged of version from Pratola's repo and Yannotty's version which has some model mixing interface code. (cherry picked from commit 390e400)
The break was due to the movement of the target file to a new folder. Strangely, the check link action didn't fail for the PR, but did on the merge commit.

This brings in changes originally made on
mp-codemerge. The main goal is to get an R wrapper that works with the most modern regression functionality (from BitBucket OpenBT), but that does not provide model mixing functionality (from OpenBTMixing).Tentative PR Self-review
