Go to the Releases page and grab the latest binary for your OS:
- Windows —
.exeinstaller (NSIS, Windows 10/11 x64) - macOS —
.dmg(Intel + Apple Silicon) - Linux —
.AppImage(x64)
Download and run the installer for your platform from the Releases page.
On first launch, you'll be prompted to set your Studio One Songs folder — this is the root directory where all your .song project folders are stored (e.g. Documents\Studio One\Songs).
Click on any project in the browser to load it. All analysis happens locally — no data leaves your machine.
- All processing is 100% local — no internet connection, no telemetry, no cloud sync.
- The app reads your
.songfiles (ZIP archives) to extract XML data. - Before modifying any project file, a timestamped backup is always saved inside the project's
History/folder. - Your workspace path is stored in
workspace-config.json(local only, excluded from Git).
- Node.js 20+
- npm
