I'm closer to a designer than a coder. I run Eltryus, a design company around product/service design, digital fabrication, and prototyping. If it doesn't exist I can probably make it happen.
EasyTrace5000 and EasyShape5000, for example, were born out of necessity - FlatCAM is abandonware and I never liked its UI. It all started as an experiment into if it was possible in a browser (to keep it compatible across operating systems), and by the time EasyTrace5000 was mostly done I was getting better G-code out of it than Easel for larger objects. So I split the foundational modules off from the UI and operational orchestration to allow for more apps using the same infrastructure.
My next personal project is a motor controller protocol with open hardware and firmware to allow control of many orders of magnitude of motors. Easy, cheap, scalable movement across tens, hundreds, maybe thousands of predictably synced steppers (if things go according to plan). Mostly for art installations, robotics/animatronics, etc...
If you have something weird and interesting you need help with, let me know. Keep in mind I'll probably have to charge you though.
