💡 What: Replaced the allocation-heavy LINQ pipeline (SelectMany, GroupBy, ToDictionary, ToList) in RobotMerger.Process() with a pre-allocated instance-level Dictionary<RobotId, List<RobotTracker>> and explicit foreach loops.

🎯 Why: RobotMerger.Process is in the core vision pipeline hot path (~100Hz). The previous LINQ implementation created multiple temporary arrays, enumerators, and lists per frame. Replacing it with a pre-sized, reused collection achieves zero per-frame dictionary and inner list allocations.

📊 Impact:

  • Eliminates 1 Dictionary allocation, ~16 inner List allocations, and multiple IEnumerator/closure allocations per frame.
  • Total savings: ~1,500+ allocs/sec at 100Hz, significantly reducing gen-0 heap pressure.

🔬 Measurement: dotnet-counters monitor System.Runtime[gen-0-gc-count,alloc-rate] -p <Tyr_PID>
