Describe the bug
- When trying to edit a video, snipping the video into multiple clips and then trying to edit the speed of the individual clips messes with the timeline. The individual clips will shrink in length (naturally) so the video should now be shorter. However, when trying to playback the scrubber jumps to random places on the timeline beyond the length of the video.
- Adding annotations / captions also gets displaced when changing the speed on the timeline and I'm unable to figure out where exactly to place it
- Changing the speed of the clips also messes with the playback speed of any audio added.
The export seems to be fine, but due to a messed up editing timeline things are not where I'd like them to be and the final output, while not messed up in speed, is still incorrectly edited.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Record a 2-3 min screencap
- Once Recordly opens up, clip the video in different places
- Change the playback speed of the clips to different speeds; 2x, 8x, etc...
- Try to add Audio
- Try to add annotations
- Try to edit the video and place the audio or annotations in specific places
- The video scrubbing marker will jump around
Expected behavior
The timeline should scrub properly and the audio and annotations, while on a different layer, should be properly editable on the timeline. Audio should not be sped up, and the annotations should appear at the timestamp (duration) it's placed rather than randomly on the timeline.
