Yes, it is currently difficult to maintain a consistent watch history and watchlist across multiple devices or platforms. If Cloudstream needs to be reinstalled or used on a new device, all progress is lost.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would love to see Trakt.tv integration added to the app.
- Account Link: An option in the settings menu to log into a Trakt account via OAuth/PIN.
- Scrobbling/Syncing: Automatically mark movies and episodes as "watched" on Trakt once they hit a certain playback threshold (e.g., 80-90% completed) in Cloudstream.
- Two-way Sync (Optional but ideal): The ability to import existing Trakt watchlists or history into the Cloudstream homepage/library.

Trakt is a standard media-tracking service utilized by many similar open-source media applications (like Aniyomi, Tachiyomi forks, or Kodi). Integrating it would significantly enhance the user experience for cross-platform users and provide an automated way to backup watch history.
