Modrinth won't boot up

Please confirm the following.

• I checked the existing issues for duplicate problems

What version of the Modrinth App are you using?

What operating systems are you seeing the problem on?

Describe the bug

I am trying to boot up Modrinth. The icon appears on my task bar, and a gray box appears on my home screen (see the picture) but nothing loads besides those. When I hover over it on my task bar and it shows a white screen with the Modrinth logo in the center. I can't check the version of Modrinth I'm using because I can't get it to load.

I am fully up to date on windows and the most recent version of Modrinth I can download is 13.4... all other games I have load just fine.

Steps to reproduce

1. Double click (or right click) Modrinth app thumbnail on home screen.

Expected behavior

It should load past a grey screen
