What browsers are you seeing the problem on?
Chrome (including Arc, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi)
Describe the bug
The website would start to use all the RAM/Memory on the device, and would significantly lag the entire device, for it to then make the page unresponsive, or go back to normal, for it to happen again. Happens when navigating, turning on filters, and filtering game version on the version page of downloading a mod
Steps to reproduce
- Go to Modrinth.com
- Click Discover Mods
- Filter for V1.21.8, and Fabric Loader
- Go into any mod
- Go to versions
- Click on Game Versions
- Click which ever one
- go back to mod page
- scroll down to another mod
- click which ever mod
- repeat 4-6
You can repeat this until it starts to lag
Expected behavior
I expected the website to be snappy, and fast, not lagging at all like how it used to be... but now I can barley look at 2 mods and download them before it lags
Additional context
so far happened on my Chromebook(4GB of Ram) and Windows PC(16GB of Ram) with no other apps open, and no other tabs open.
I have done this multiple times making sure it wasn't just that one time
