Regression: Gemma 4 E4B does not load

Describe the bug:
On version .9 Gemma 4 E4B worked fine, now it won't load in .11:

To Reproduce:
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Download the regular Gemma E4B
2. Click on 'Try' in the Chat List
3. See error

Expected behavior:
See no regression

Interestingly it works after deleting and redownloading. So I guess there's no download integrity check?

unable to reproduce this, works fine on my pixel 10 pro fold.

@jegly yeah it's working fine for me now. Question is more: Does the Downloader check the checksum of the file or will it try to load a corrupt file?

yes it checks the checksum, hence why the old models would not work despite the data being available from a previous uninstall. this is expected. this may help with the other issue you opened, note as previously mentioned upstream added a auto app updater for kind of reason i left it out, as it can in theory update models silently.
