Fork needed?

This project appears unmaintained, the last real activity occurring in 2024. Unfortunately, for those of us who need or want to use KMIP in python I don't see other good choices.

Has anyone had any luck with any particular fork and/or getting some maintainer rights to this repo to start getting things back in shape? I think at least being able to support recent python versions should be a priority.

I have not. Let me ping him again. I tried to contact him during the holidays so it may have been lost in the shuffle.
