Quickshell does not adapt extracted wallpaper color as well as light/dark mode

Describe the bug
With static colors disabled quickshell does not adapt extracted colors from the wallpaper while other applications do. Also switching between light and dark mode does update the preference but not the settings UI.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Settings -> Style
2. Disable "Static colors"
3. Switch wallpaper

And for the light/dark mode issue:

1. Settings -> Style
2. Select opposite of currently selected mode e.g. light when dark mode is enabled
3. Observe that dark is still highlighted even though the preference was set to light mode

Expected behavior
I expect the colors in the settings app, dashboard bar, etc. to update accordingly when the wallpaper is changed.

Version (please complete the following information):

• OS: EndeavourOS
• Sleex version: 1.34.r702.b207e27-1 (sleex-git AUR)

Additional context

• This bug exists for quite some time so it probably was not broken by a recent change

I tried to reproduce your bug but I didn't manage to (see videos, maybe I'm doing something wrong)

Can you execute this command, try to change your wallpaper and report the errors:

sh /usr/share/sleex/scripts/colors/switchwall.sh

Using the switchwall.sh script works as intended. This bug only occurs when using the settings app.

The script prompts for a color after setting the wallpaper

Running the script in the background (job spawn) matching the behavior of quickshell i believe outputs this and does not update the color.
